What we know about the Note 8 so far?

This is 2017 and everything in the tech industry leaks, whether it’s design or the specifications of an upcoming Smartphone. Leaks are impossible to stop, as giants like Apple and Samsung have huge manufacturing factories with over thousands of people working on the upcoming devices. It’s very hard to track the source of leaked information. Same happened with the upcoming Galaxy Note 8, here are some of the things we know about the phone based on leaks and rumours.

According to the leaks, The phone will be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor, which is the latest and greatest from Qualcomm along with 6GB of Ram. It will have 6.4-inch SuperAMOLED infinity edge display with a resolution of 1440x2960 pixels and will follow the same design aesthetics of Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. As far as the cameras are concerned, the phone will come with dual 12-megapixel rear cameras, an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and a fingerprint sensor on the back.

It was also rumored that Note 8 will have on-screen fingerprint sensor but that’s too early to-do on mass production and Samsung also faced many issues doing that. So, they ditch the on-screen fingerprint sensor.

Note 8 will be powered by relatively small 3300mAh battery than its predecessor due to Note 7 battery explosion controversy. It will be priced around €1000 and will be available to buy in late September.
